Great location, close to the NEC and with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. Friendly and welcoming owner provides helpful local information.

The room was shabby, grubby, and in need of a good clean. The bathroom and shower were dirty and difficult to use.

Achill Guest House is in a great location, just a short walk from the centre of the village of Knowle. It offers easy access to local attractions and is close to a variety of restaurants for a delicious evening meal. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with spacious bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. the friendly owner, Mary, provides a fantastic information pack and is always happy to help with any queries. the breakfast is superb, with a generous spread of hot food and a big pot of tea.

The exterior of the guest house may not be the most impressive, but the ongoing refurbishment plans promise a more updated appearance in the future.

In terms of value for money, this hotel is excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices for such a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with comfy beds that ensured a good night's sleep. Additionally, the location is fantastic, with the village center only a short walk away, providing plenty of options for dinner at the many nearby restaurants.

Location was convenient for visiting relatives in the area and the room was cozy and warm, which was perfect for staying during Christmas time. the shower had good pressure and hot water. the staff was friendly and provided information about local attractions.

The breakfast was not as good as expected, with a limited selection of options. the room was a bit outdated and could have used some modernization such as better lighting and a fresher paint job.
